With life busy as ever, Charles and I actually didn't have time to celebrate Valentine's Day on the fourteenth. But since we had the following Monday off (yay for Presidents Day), we made the 2-hour trek to Niland to finally check out Salvation Mountain - something we've been talking about doing since forever.
I want to remember these days of our engagement season, which is a big part of why I've been itching to blog more. I want to have something to look back on when years pass. We explored the man-made caves, admired the artwork and the meaning behind it, and walked/dragged a scared-yet-curious Riley around the mountain. We ended the night at one of our favorite kbbq joints, where we squeezed in a little more quality time before jumping back into our busy schedules the next day.
These moments are so sweet.
