The night was sprinkled with little reminders here and there of how blessed I am. I mean for one, I've got a job. Even more than that, it's a job that gives me the opportunity to plan and execute events! Which, if you know me at all, is really exciting for me. Not to mention, the art show was catered toward the little ones. It made me smile to see kids dancing, singing, and creating artwork of their own. And though everything doesn't always run smoothly, it's always fun getting to bond with coworkers over event mishaps!
Yes, there are times where event-planning is hectic and stressful. There are days where I'm deep into planning-mode, unable to catch a night's rest, and wondering what I got myself into. But seeing it all unfold makes me smile. Event planning ain't all that bad. Especially when you see people gathering together, with joy and excitement. For me, that's one of the best things about it all.
